Back in 2013, celebrated the historic Air Jordan lineage by reinterpreting each Jordan model (1 – 27) in a Black and Electric Green colorway for its “” campaign, which eventually led to the unveiling of the original .
While each modified Air Jordan silhouette in Black and Electric Green were 1 of 1, Jordan Brand conducted a contest that gave Jordan fanatics and sneakerheads alike, a chance at winning a pair of the unique kicks.
Unsurprisingly seeing a few models hit eBay, one example being the, it seems that Jordan Brand is prepping a general release for one specific style – the .
Officially introduced in 2001, the Air Jordan 16 was last retroed in 2008, as part of the . Seven years later, the silhouette may finally be revived once again in the 2013-exclusive Black/Electric Green palette.
Although the images above aren’t authentic, it certainly assures that the sneaker is in fact in the works and may possibly release sometime this Spring 2015 (as noted in the tongue tag) to coordinate with ‘s 30th anniversary.

Like I said before, the Air Jordan 16 is the last silhouette that I would purchase, meaning I’m biased towards 1 – 16 only..(I still haven’t bought any model after that..don’t judge, it’s just a personal preference).
Anyway, the last Black/Green shoes I purchased were the 13s and I’m elated for this release..not as quite as before..(I’ll admit, I haven’t been collecting that many sneakers in a while..too many other responsibilities), but these are surely a must-cop for Jordan fans.
