Up to this point, if you wanted a pair of Air Jordan 11 Lows in a “Bred” colorway, you’d have to be Michael Jordan himself. MJ got a special PE version of these back in 1996 and for almost two decades, it appeared that none of us normal folks would ever be able to get our hands on a pair. Sure, we’ve got a black and red 11 Low before, but that didn’t have patent leather so we know that’s not the same.
That’s all set to change on May 23rd.
That’s right, the good people at Jordan Brand have decided to bless us with a Jordan Retro 11 Low “Bred” release. It’s arguable that it doesn’t get any better than a classic pair of Jordans in a Chicago Bull’s colorway. I mean, we’re talking about a color scheme that pretty much made “bred” a household term among sneakerheads and birthed a series of unwanted corny “bread” memes.
Having a pair of mid bred 11s is already a special thing, but getting your hands on these takes your sneaker game stunt level to all new heights. Based on their history, we may have to wait another 19 years for these to release again, so don’t forget to set your alarm on May 23rd!
