To no surprise of many, the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” was an instant sell out on Saturday with the retro Jordan 7s flying off the shelves at stores around the country and online in minutes. What was a surprise come Sunday afternoon was just the sheer volume of pairs that were up for sale by resellers across auction sites, local classifieds, and on social media.
With so much anticipation for the “Hare” Jordan 7s it should be no surprise that many are fetching above retail making some sneakerprenuers (aka resellers) a pretty penny, but one reseller takes the cake for a major haul.
Asking a pretty ambitious $700 per pair Facebook user Alfonso Silva shared a photo of his lineup of 77 pairs of Hare 7s between sizes 8-11. Should he stand to sell all pairs at this price, it would mean a cool $53, 900 – not a bad weekend. Even if you take out the cost of goods and add a reasonable sales tax rate, the reseller would stand to net out close to $38, 000.
