Nike air jordan 7

Nike released the Air Jordan 7 Retro in spring 2015 to celebrate the sneaker line's 30th anniversary. Inspired by the nighttime lights of Barcelona, the newest color of the Air Jordan 7 Retro is a snapshot from the historic summer of 1992, the shoe's description states. In 1992, Michael Jordan and the Dream Team won the gold medal in the Barcelona Summer Olympics.

Air Jordan XX9

Nike just introduced the Air Jordan XX9, which features the first-ever performance-woven upper. The 29th iteration of the sneaker brand that began in 1985 will be available in September 2014. The shoes will retail for about $225, but high demand will likely bring sky-high prices in the secondary market. The Air Jordan XX9 has two colorways: black/white-gym red and black/team orange-dark gray. "Jordan has become bigger than Jordan, " said Sarah Kim, editor in chief of By Way of Brooklyn magazine, when asked about the enduring brand.

Air Jordan

AIR JORDAN I (1984-85): The first pair of Air Jordans were so controversial that the NBA banned them for violating the "uniformity of uniform" rule. That didn't faze Michael Jordan, who continued to wear the sneakers despite being fined $5, 000 per game. Original retail: $65. The first basketball shoe tailored for flight has iconic styles, limited colorways and very select drop dates, Kim said.

AIR JORDAN III (1987-88): The first pair to feature the brand's iconic "Jumpman" logo, these were voted the greatest sneaker of all time in a 2005 ESPN poll. Original retail: $100. Jordans in certain styles can sell for three or four times today's retail prices.

AIR JORDAN IV (1988-89): Director Spike Lee featured this pair in a scene in his movie "Do The Right Thing." Original retail: $110

AIR JORDAN VIII (1992-93): This pair is one of the most desired by collectors, as it was only released in three different color schemes. Original retail: $125

AIR JORDAN IX (1993-1994): Michael Jordan helped design this pair, even though he never wore them in an NBA game. When he tried his hand at minor league baseball, these shoes were redesigned as baseball cleats. Original retail: $125

AIR JORDAN XI (1995-96): The first athletic shoe to ever feature patent leather, Michael Jordan wore these sneakers during his 72-win season. Original retail: $125

AIR JORDAN XIV (1998-99): Taking their inspiration from Jordan's own Ferrari 550 M, this pair is rated by many as the most comfortable set of Air Jordans ever. Original retail: $150
